First Friday live music and belly dance with Kamilia Bellydance at Joolz Restaurant.  Bring a friend and join us for a mini-lesson followed by cocktails and appetizers for only $40!  Then strut your stuff afterward to live music or just enjoy performances by Kamilia Bellydance and Rasha.

The High Desert Bellydance Guild Winter Showcase at Joolz.  The Quarterly Showcase features local performers representing a variety of belly dance styles and experiences –from classical Egyptian and Cabaret, to American Tribal Style and modern Tribal Fusion performances.

February 17-19
Reigning Down on Oregon hosted by the ladies of Zephyr! 3 days of workshops, vendors, an open hafla, fire show, and a Saturday evening instructor showcase! All in a beautiful forest setting.  The Bijou Project will be reuniting to perform their award winning 80′s choreography.  Get ready for a ride in the way-back machine!

June 9-10
Belly Dancer USA™ Competition & Middle Eastern Bazaar, hosted by Mezdulene, Mystical Oasis and Jareeda.  The Bijou Project was the 2009 Belly Dancer USA 1st Place Duet.  This year, we’ll be back to defend our title and compete as soloists!

August 11-13
JamBallah Northwest, A wild weekend of Bellydance and Fusion… yours for the taking…. Do you live for ‘the glory on earth’ that is to dance?  Well look no further!  World-class instruction and entertainment are yours for the taking at JamBallah Northwest, a shiny new Bellydance & Fusion Festival.

Mezdulene’s Women-only Bellydance Retreat, Camp Myrtlewood, OR. 11 workshops with Mezdulene, Halima, Unmata, The Bijou Project and more!  Plus: campfires, swimming, hiking, dancing, fun and more dancing!  Come enjoy nature as we celebrate the sisterhood of our dance. This is a don’t miss event!
